Kate Novel Jaquier

My journey into yin yoga began with encouragement from Heidi, learning with Josh Summers, and has since deepened my perspective on healing, resilience, and self-awareness. Alongside my work as a psychosocial counselor at the Swiss invalidity insurance, I have been teaching yoga, warm yoga, and yin yoga since 2017 at Yoga Moves Nyon. I hold this work close to my heart as a path toward prevention and well-being. I  create each class with care around a theme, supported by selected scents and music, to offer a space where you can pause, breathe, and reconnect.

Through Yin Yoga, we gently guide the body into a restorative state where healing can begin. Long-held poses, conscious breathing, and subtle acupressure points may support relaxation, energy flow, and the body’s natural cleansing processes. The practice can also invite emotional release, mental clarity, and renewed vitality. Rather than forcing, we slow down, listen, and allow the body to restore itself.
